Green Lantern: The Animated Series

Going back to the 90s we all remember that the World's greatest hero Superman and World's greatest detective Batman got themselves own animated shows known as Batman: The Animated Series (or Adventures of Batman and Robin or The New Batman Adventures) and Superman: The Animated Series, and in the other decade, all heroes got themselves a great show called Justice League (Unlimited), and of course other shows such as Teen Titans, Young Justice etc. But now, in late 2011 and 2012 a new DC animated show is coming, the third DC show starting with the title of the superhero (and that it's all about him) and it's called "Green Lantern: The Animated Series", for now we have little sneak peak and a trailers, and it's 3D, we'll be glad to see Batman in it and in 3D, won't we?

Batman hits #2 on IGN's Heroes list

Another list where we can find the DC heroes by IGN was found, this time a Top 100 for Comic Book Heroes, and guess what? After heroes from DC such as Aquaman, Arrowman, Supergirl, Superboy and Wonder Woman at #5, Wolverine at #4 and Spiderman at #3...
Batman rocked at #2 as one of the few (and the only in the top10) heroes with no super powers, just a detective with super-gadgets, lots of money and a sidekick (Robin rocked at 11), while Superman went #1, of course and fair!

Review: Batman in "Superman/Batman: Public Enemies"

NOTE: Superman/Batman is a different fictional world from Justice League, but it includes the same characters

Batman is one of the few super-heroes (even he has no super-powers) that appear in this original animated DC movie. The main heroes are Superman and Batman, but also heroes like Atom and Power-Girl appear also. The story is about after the elections for new president, which is Lex Luthor (main villain of Superman) and a big Krypton meteor that will hit the planet. Clark (Superman) is portrayed as the bad guy and Lex is offering one billion for his head. While they are handling their old enemies, Bruce and Clark also need to go against some of their former-allies, such as Captain Atom, Hawkman and Power-Girl (who short-after helps them). Batman appears in only few less scenes then Clark as they work together, we also see Alfred, and Bruce without mask. The style of drawing this movie is new to animated DC movies and has been seen only once (in this movie), that doesn't mean that it's bad, because it's perfect, there is a lot of action, adventures and less drama and talking. The Superman/Batman animated movie (based on same-titled comics) is continued in one more movie named "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" from 2010!
